Sundays
We meet at 4pm every Sunday at St Johns Church, Lower Weston. We'd love you to join us!
Sundays at Grace Church
We want every Sunday to help people take a step towards Jesus.
Whether you're exploring Christianity for the first time or have followed Jesus for many years, we hope you'll leave encouraged, challenged, and knowing him better. We're a church family made up of people of all ages, backgrounds, and stages of faith, and we'd love you to join us.
What to expect
3:30PM
Arrive early for tea, coffee, cake and conversation. It's a relaxed chance to meet people and settle in before the service begins.
4:00 - 5:00PM
Bath is a thriving sporting city, and we want church to be accessible to everyone who calls Bath home. That's one reason we meet at 4pm, making it easier for athletes, coaches, teams, supporters and their families to be part of our church family.
Our service starts at 4pm. You'll find Bible readings, prayers, songs, and a clear, practical talk that helps us understand what the Bible says and why it matters today.
We want Sundays to be something you take part in, not just something you watch. There is usually space to reflect, ask questions, and discuss what we've heard together. Children and young people have their own groups where they learn about Jesus in ways that are fun, engaging, and appropriate for their age.
Afterwards
After the service many people stay for another drink, a chat, and a chance to get to know one another better. Children's tea is provided, making Sundays easier for families and giving everyone a little longer to enjoy time together. Many of us continue conversations at a local pub, and during the summer you'll often find us sharing food, playing games, and enjoying time together in Victoria Park.
The Lord's Supper
Once a month we share bread and wine together as we remember Jesus' death and celebrate the forgiveness, grace, and new life he offers.

Do I have to participate in every part of the service?
Not at all! There is never any pressure to participate in any part of our services at Grace Church. So if you aren't comfortable singing, participating in the time of discussion after the sermon, in communion or any other part of the service then that's absolutely fine! Just sit back and take some time to reflect or decide what's for dinner. We won't be offended!
